Personal Training

To provide a more holistic approach to health and wellbeing You Nutritional Therapy also offers personal training. Whether your goals are weight loss, body transformation, improving health and simply getting fit, we can help!

Qualifications/Registrations

Anthea McCourtie trained with Premier Training International to receive the following:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Fitness Instructing and Personal Training
  • Level 2 Diploma in Health and Fitness
  • Level 3 Award in Designing Pre and Post Natal Exercise Programmes
  • Master Kettlebell Instructor Training
  • Suspended Movement Instructor Training
  • Level 1 Animal Flow Instructor Training

Anthea McCourtie completed her 200hr yoga teacher training and is registered with the Yoga Alliance UK.

In addition Anthea has over 6 years of Muay Thai (Thai boxing) and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu experience to share with clients.

Outside of the Gym

For additional convenience personal training or individual yoga sessions can be held in the privacy of your own home or garden (within a 5 mile radius of KT19).

This can be really useful if you are new to or returning to exercise, or don’t hold a gym membership. It can also be ideal for new mums or dads as it saves the worry of childcare.

We all know the health benefits of exercise, but working out in the fresh air and sunshine has added benefits too, including boosting your body’s vitamin D and further raising serotonin (the feel good neurotransmitter) levels. Outdoor training can take place in your own garden or local park.

Equipment including kettlebells, TRX, speed ladders, stability balls, boxing gloves and pads can be used in your workouts to keep you working hard and making it fun!

Personal training can also be carried out in the workplace should you wish to provide the space and opportunity for your employees before work or during lunch times.

Classes


In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, online classes are now available via Zoom.

Online Classes


Morning Workout 30 mins

Monday, Wednesday and Friday 08:00 - 08:30

This is an online class, ideal for anyone wanting to workout during this lockdown period. It is suitable for all levels of experience with different levels of intensity offered.

Animal Flow 30 mins

Tuesday and Thursday 08:00 - 08:30

This is an online class, ideal for anyone physically active wanting to improve strength, flexibility and conditioning during this lockdown period. It is a fun and challenging class!

Evening Vinyasa Yoga 30 mins

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 19:30 - 20:00

This is an online class, ideal for anyone physically active and wanting to improve their flexibility and strength, but suitable for all levels of experience. The class also promotes relaxation through breathing techniques, finishing with a meditative svasana.

Special lockdown offer: £4 per 30 minute class or £10 for a weekly unlimited pass.

Yoga 

Vinyasa Yoga

This is a dynamic and flowing style of yoga that links breath with movement through different postures. The class works towards a peak, or challenge posture, followed by integration.

During the COVID-19 lockdown, this class is now available online for £5 per session.

Weight loss

The most effective weight loss transformations come about through a combination of nutritional intervention as well as exercise. The Confident:You transformation programme provides a combination of a nutrition plan alongside regular personal training sessions over a 12 week period.

Personal Training

Individual sessions are £50 per hour, with a minimum booking of 4 sessions.
Partner sessions are charged at £35 per person.

Yoga

Individual sessions are £50 per hour, with a minimum booking of 4 sessions.
Partner or small group sessions (2-4 people) are £70 per session.
